VSV: Cleaner District Heating with Imefy Medium-Voltage Transformers

The energy investment made by the VSV Group improves the reliability of district heating delivery in Vakka-Suomi, specifically in the Uusikaupunki region. Through Finn Electric, VSV received two Imefy medium-voltage dry-type transformers for its district heating plant.

One was installed alongside an electric resistance boiler delivered as part of the project, and the other was placed in the pellet plant on the electricity usage side. The boiler installation was handled by Calortec Oy, and the electrification by Vertek Oy.

Finn Electric, known for its comprehensive deliveries of MV and HV transformers, succeeded in ensuring a fast and reliable delivery: the transformers arrived in Uusikaupunki only about three months after the order, in summer 2025.
